As The Best Decorator, our customer care ensures every customer receives the complete decoration service, from start to finish, being as little or as much involved as you desire in the planning and design stages, to ensure your vision for your home or commercial office premises is reached.

Getting To Know You

It all starts at the very beginning, where we will arrange a time convenient to you to come round and discuss your exact requirements. It’s really important at this stage that you feel comfortable to ask any necessary questions about our services.

And we will in return be open and honest about the reality of your requirements, especially if we see a need to bring in additional services such as a plasterer to ensure the job is completed to a high professional level. Likewise if you have chosen colours that may make your room too dark, we will point this out to avoid disappointment at a later stage.

Only once this stage is complete will we prepare the estimate, as we believe every job is individual and needs its own consideration to plan. Our estimates will include everything so there are no hidden surprises and where we can, we will offer to buy the materials. We will arrange to post, email or text your estimate, based on your preference of delivery.

Cleanliness

This is paramount to decorating any home or business. We will treat your home or office exactly as we would our own and with as little disruption as possible

We always ensure all surfaces are covered including carpets, walls and untreated areas. When necessary, any other areas or rooms outside the boundary of where we are working are also protected to minimise the transfer of dust, dirt or paint.

We constantly monitor cleanliness and health and safety throughout every stage of the work being carried out, from start to finish, to enable us to leave your home sparkling clean and shiny in all its newly decorated glory.

Surface Preparation

Painting your home is arguably 80% preparation and 20% decoration! Our dedication on this key stage enables us to get you the very best results, durability and the finish you desire. We will always advise you if your walls are not in best condition and the best way to fix them before any paint is applied.

We do have high-quality equipment including damp readers and sanders to ensure any issues are highlighted as quickly as possible in the preparation process so they can be fixed to create a perfectly decorated finish. Our sanders are even attached to a vacuum system ensuring dust is kept to a minimum throughout.

All surfaces are washed, cleaned and degreased including walls and ceilings and prepared to a high standard.

• Blemishes and cracks are filled and sanded smooth.
• Larger wall and ceiling repairs are carried out using a plasterer.
• Woodwork is sanded and keyed ready for painting or wood treatment.

Applying Coatings and Paint

We only use the highest quality professional wall coverings, materials, paints and brushes. Using our expert knowledge we will work with you to advise and select to use the right paint and products for your application, mindful of the room and light available together with your chosen colour schemes and design.
